So my little munchkin here, almost 3 month old, has started to have these flare-ups, mostly around her trunk, arms and legs. Basically everywhere. She seems itchy and frustrated with it, giving herself bad scratches (wearing mittens now).
We started to suspect eczema within her first month after birth. Dry spots, around the neck irritation and just an extremely sensitive skin all around. GP wanted initially to wait and see, hold off on the steroid creams and just follow the good old eczema plan of oil baths, lotions and mindfulness towards clothing and irritants. We have done that, yet yesterday a new flare up emerged and this morning she is super bothered.
We will be going back to GP tomorrow for a derm referral. In the meantime, have anyone had same issue? It looks pretty bad in these pictures, but she was quite upset, which made it looks worse. But you guys get the idea.
