Hi..
My dd Is almost 3 and at the min has a terrible cough.
She has had croup quite a few times since being a baby and has even been hospitalised with it.

As she's got older I have been told how to manage it at home and drs are now more reluctant to give steroids.

I've been giving her calpol and making sure she is hydrated. I also have an inhaler which I might try tonight (the older she's got the more resistant she is taking it).

My mum gave her some tixylix before .. I never give her medicine like that.. so now I'm abit stressed as to will it be ok?

Tyxilix will help soothe her throat, much better for a cough than Calpol.
When you say you have an inhaler that you might try, is she supposed to take it regularly?
