Hi all
My daughter is coming up to 14 months. She’s recently had an accident in some stairs where I think she may have hurt her head. I immediately checked her head but couldn’t feel anything and she stopped crying pretty much straight away so assumed all was ok.
That night however, she was asleep on me and above her left ear I felt this hard mass. She does not have one the other side so assumed it was from her fall. However, 3 days on, it’s still there and I’m getting increasingly worried that it’s something else and may be more sinister. It’s not a normal round bump shape but more oval and very hard, like it’s bone. But on her other ear the head feels flatter and more ‘normal’.
Any ideas what this could be???? Xx

Possibly a 'goose-egg' bump if she seems her Normal self and isn't lethargic should disappear within few days. If it doesnt and she seems lazy or not herself please see you GP also check her eyes for her pupils if they both seem same size too if not seek medical attention and advice x
