Hey,
So my dd is now 14 months Old and I am at my wits end with her constantly getting ill it’s almost every week there is something I’m beginning to think I’m doing something wrong am I not protecting her from all the nasty bugs 😢
Nov 18 bronchitis
Feb 19 bronchitis
April 19 seizure no 1
May 19 seizures 2,3,4,5
Seizure 3,4,5 in one night also with bronchitis
June 19 seizure 6 and 7 (medication began and epilepsy diagnosed)
July 19 pneumonia
August 19 tonsillitis
Sept 19 bronchitis
Oct 19 oral thrush x2 croup and as of this evening a ring rash ( drs in morning think could possibly be ringworm. )
I have 2 older daughters who barley see the inside of the drs. I feel such a failure and drs seem to think she will grow out of getting poorly so often but am I crazy to think this is too much, I am exhausted so I can only imagine her little body is too.

Presumably due to the seizures she's under the care of a consultant? Do they have any views?

Has she ever had a blood test? If not I’d be asking for one to rule out problems with her immune system.

She has had multiple blood tests done I couldn’t tell you exactly what for as they were done in hospital. I have asked The dr at the hospital and apparently her hair and skin colour don’t match a person with a low immune system. She is under an epilepsy specialist and she hasn’t really given any opinion on anything other than her seizures. Every time I mention how often she gets ill I just kind of get looked at like the over paranoid mum.
