Hello. After a very stressful 11 months with multiple missing referrals and a nightmare of a sleep study we finally saw the ENT surgeon yesterday who is listing our 27mo for Adenoid and tonsil removal.
His main symptoms are awful snoring, apnea events (although these seem less now he's older), mouth breathing, awful breath, waking from naps and nighttime sleep un-refreshed, can be very emotional at the flip of a switch and generally a compete fidget at night. He was also a very tricky breast-feeder.
Now the reality of surgery is in sight I'm a bit nervous and already feeling guilty. Am I just over-thinking everything?
Would anyone mind sharing their experiences?
