Hello. Been to see gp today as dd has had floaty/yogurty mustard coloured poo since beginning of September. He has asked me to get some still samples to test for infection etc and also asked me to call children hospital to arrange blood test to check for celiac disease, thyroid etc. My question is has anyone else had child with these type of stools and did you ever get a diagnosis. Also is there anything different about procedure for taking blood from a child than an adult? I'm just worried about how painful it's going to be. She has no other symptoms and is really well in herself. Thanks

How old is your DD? This sounds similar to what my DS has and we still haven’t really got to the bottom of it.

She's 4.5 years old. How old is your DS? Is he still having tests?
