I’ve posted quite a lot on this forum lately! DS is 7 months old and we were at A&E with him over the weekend. He had a fever and wasn’t drinking at all and was covered in a viral rash. Turned out he has tonsillitis which seems to be improving now. He was also given antibiotic cream for a mark on his face, wrist and legs which was different to the viral rash, it started off as red spots but then went scabby and brown and the consultant said it looked like impetigo. The viral rash is slowly disappearing but he is left with these blister type spots on his fingers on both hands. He still has a bad rash around his bum too. Are these little blisters as a result of the viral rash or is it something else? A friend has said it looks like hand foot and mouth. He also still appears to be in discomfort when the bottle teat or spoon goes in his mouth. The consultant saw the blisters on his hands but said she didn’t know what they are. Pic attached. Thanks
