Recurrent fever

My 3 year old has been getting a recurrent fever, its every other week starts on the same day and lasts for 4 days each time.
Always starts with a sore tummy, no d&v.
This is the 4th time now,she has got a cold but has had that for just over a week while she has had no fever.
Just seems weird that it comes and goes in the same way.
I mean it could just be where she is back in nursery but I'm slightly worried now and was wondering if anybody else has had this happen to their child.

I would see the GP if it's ongoing. Just to get their advice and a plan if it doesn't resolve

I would also see the gp if it starts on the same day and lasts the same length of time each time, that is enough to have her looked at by gp. I'd write down the dates and symptoms in a notebook and bring it with you, that's what I did when my son had tummy ache and constant bowel movements so it helped the gp to see the pattern and diagnose fecal impact.

I'm definitely going to get an appointment on Monday, just seems so strange.
Thank you

Hi,

My daughter 3 has exactly the same symptoms!
I've been to the A&E 4 times in 3 weeks but they don't do anything.
Haven't seen the GP yet but will book an appointment soon.
Please can you share your experience?
What your GP said and how's your DD doing now?
