My DD has developed a cold sore today. Her dad and half sister also get them, I think this is how she has got it.
I went to the pharmacist and they wouldn't sell me any cream as she is too young, they said to book an dr app. But then also said I could just keep the area clean and wash her hands throughout the day until it clear up.
Want to ask advice, has anyone else had a small child with this? Do I really need to take her to the dr? I read in nhs website about neonatal heroes.....is she too old for this now? I've never suffered with cold sores so don't have a clue.
