My 6 month old formula fed son has had diarrhoea for the past 4 days every hour. It's so bad I have to change his clothes as it goes through. Does anyone know why? Should I take him to the doctor? We're both not sleeping because of this. It's just continuous diarrhoea.

Yes at 6 months with diarrhoea that regularly you must seek medical attention.
Please ring 111 ASAP.

@TheSheepofWallSt I saw a doctor today who said it's gastroenteritis but took a sample of stool anyway to examine just in case it could be anything else. Thanks for your reply.

@saralola

Glad it’s nothing more serious- keep a close eye out for dehydration. Assume you know the obvious signs, but some less known ones include baby crying but not making tears, cold/ blotchy looking hands and feet, baby feeling a bit cool, “sticky” mouth.

Hope you’re both okay Flowers
