My daughter is 6.5 but the liquid paracetamol I get from Wilko only goes up to 6 year old what can I get for her now? I've seen nurofen and Calpol for 6 plus but I get the cheaper brands and I cant see any for older kids. I don't think she'd swallow a tablet. Obviously I can still use the stuff I've got for now but will it be strong enough.

Boots sell own brand 6+ paracetamol for £2.65

Morrison's do one too.

This link explains dosages for different ages. Your daughter would be fine having 10ml of baby paracetamol - it's almost the same dose as 5ml of 6+

I used Calpol melts for my kids. Great invention. They come in strawberry or orange. Just pop in the tongue and they melt.
I know they are branded but I only give them when necessary obviously so they lasted a while.

i think anything that is effective. As child gets over, possibly no drugs indiicated. ````````````````````````

All the very best. Nothing lasts forever,

You can still give her the wilko one..ask a pharmacist how to measure up the dose and what maximum would be for her age and weight
