Tiny purple spots on DDs leg

She was trampolining this afternoon so it’s probably due to that, but they are a bit odd. Any ideas?

In case it’s important, she also has tiny blood spots on her wrist (has for a while) but thought they were just small capillary breakages or something.

They're called petechiae.

I would get them checked because they can be a sign of leukaemia. Very very unlikely, obviously, but worth a blood test I think.

Does she bruise easily? My nephew had ITP (low platelets) but otherwise healthy.
He has these plus a lot of bruising. Worth a
GP visit.

Depends on the context. If dd is well, running around as usual, see gp to get it checked if multiple episodes or doesn’t really go away (like capillaries on wrist).

If she looks drowsy, Confused, temperature/chills go straight to hospital as may be a sign of sepsis.

Thanks everyone. She’s perfectly well and normal, but I will arrange a check up.

A doctor did see her wrist spots at one point and he didn’t exactly dismiss them; he said probably fine but advocated keeping an eye on them.
