Chicken pox on holiday

DS has chicken pox. Not sure how long it usually lasts but internet says 10-14 days for the spots to be scabbed over. He’s not allowed back to nursery until then. We’re going on holiday in a week. Can he still go on holiday?

How are you travelling, what type of holiday?

If you are driving yourself to a remote cottage then fine, if you are flying and staying in a hotel where you want to use the communal facilities then I would t go if the pox haven’t all scabbed over.

Chicken pox normally scabs in 5-7 days. When did the chicken pox start? You arent contagious once they have scabbed over
