Is this a cold sore?

Just noticed this on my son this morning. He said that his lip was sore yesterday and I just assumed it was an ulcer as he gets those regularly.

Yes it is. Buy some pure tea tree oil and dab it on every 10-15 minutes for a few hrs. Should be gone in a day.

Thanks for the advice :) If I have kissed him, does that mean I’ll get one too? I’ve never had one so I have no clue where he’s gotten it from.

if you start getting a tingly feeling in your lip dab a bit of perfume on it

Try a cold sore patch ( not sure if they are suitable for children) it will help to avoid them spreading. When they start to leak fluid they are very contagious so try to avoid face touching and wash hands.
