Child with SVT

Hi, I was wondering of anyone out there has a child with SVT? My six year old daughter has it and has been having regular episodes the past few months. Before now, she had gone up to two years without an attack. The doctors have started to mention ablation and I really need advice, has anyone had a child who has had this procedure? I've never met anyone in the same boat and wondered if there was anybody out there? Karen x

My DS has WPW and has had episodes of SVT. Not for a few years now since he’s been on a pretty solid regime of flecainide and atenolol. He is due to have his ablation at GOSH December / January time. Feel free to PM me if you like - there are a few of us around on here but not many. X

I became aware that my palpitations weren't normal when I was about 15. I'd been having them for a few years by then, but just thought that everyone had them.

I ended up having radio wave ablation when I was 28.
