DD camera investigation in nose

My 7 year old DD has had a runny nose for approx 6 months. Initially I didn't pass any remarks as assumed was bit of a cold. Then we realised he nose actually smelled. Doctor said was all inflammed and put on antibiotic in case of infection, however made no difference. Doctor says still inflammed but cant see too far up so sending her to get camera up it to have a look around.
Has anyone else any experience of anything similar with nose?
Anyone know how uncomfortable this is?

I've had this a couple of times, it's uncomfortable but didn't hurt...kinda fascinating to see up your own nose!! They may tell her to use sinus rinses, I recommend the bottle (neilsmed? Can buy in boots) you can squirt - rather than the Neti pit flowerpot thing that you have to angle and pour up your nose!

Thanks for ur help. Good to know its not sore. 1 doctor did suggested sinus but assume she would have sore heads etc, She hasnt complained about anything at all so my guess its not sinus.

I didn't find it uncomfortable; more like the sensation you get when you accidentally get soap up your nose. (My daughter claims she has never inhaled soap, so maybe just me...)

Well thats ok then, thank you. At least I know camera part cant b that bad. Just hope they dont find anything too bad up there!
