I'm after some advice, my 4 year old daughter, who has always been a fit, active, well lil girl got pneumonia an ended up in hospital for a few days, she was sent home on antibiotics for a week an was fine, 8 weeks later we were back in the hospital, same thing, the pneumonia was back again, so more antibiotics, 2 different types, the 1 antibiotic she had to take for 3 weeks, then once she stopped 3 days later we were back in the hospital, so now she's on antibiotics again, and an inhaler for at least the next 2 months until we see the doctor again, but now she has to be tested to find out why she keeps getting chest infections /pneumonia, which I completely understand, her first test is in 4 days for cystic fibrosis, she also has an appointment for blood test etc now I'm panicking that my lil girl who has never had anything wrong with her before now, may have an underlying problem, or is it more than likely she's just got asthma, and the doctors have to rule out every other possible cause as she's under 5? Is it normal for them to test for things before they can say yes it is asthma. Has any1 else had similar experience, any advice will b very much appreciate xx
