Just wondering what this might be. DD age 4 has always been prone to slightly itchy dry skin on her legs and torso, usually it’s in the winter and clears up in the summer and if we use a good moisturiser and sensitive laundry liquid etc.
But there’s a rash on her inner thighs which has kept going all summer and no matter what we use on it. It’s clearly very itchy and waking her at night.
I will try to take a pic later but basically it’s individual small red bumps (most of which she has scratched into scabs), not patches, no fluid, no pus, not flaky. But clearly very itchy.
Any ideas very welcome. I will take her to the GP but there’s a wait and IME they are not great at diagnosing rashes and just say prescribe steroid cream... I know there’s a million rashes out there but just hoping someone on here might have come across something like this?
