My almost 5 year old has such a scaly, flaky scalp, and he won't stop picking at it, causing the angry bleeding scabs. Is there any way I can sort this? I'd try that cradle cap shampoo but wondering if anyone can tell me it actually works?

Coconut oil and a nit comb to comb out the flakes. My nephew had this chronically and it was gone within a week by doing this everyday. He just repeats this every so often now just to keep his scalp good.

Ask pharmacist for neutrogena
