When to worry about weight?

Daughter is 2y7m old. Never had any concerns about her development, except I weighed her a couple weeks back and she was 12kg. According to her book this makes her quite light for her age, and she should be around 13kg.

She's full of energy and seems healthy. She is quite slim, but nothing out of the ordinary. She is about average height. Never really ill, always active, happy and bright.

Am I meant to be worried? Am I meant to go to the doctors? She was born small 6.4lb but then moved to 50 percentile. Now she's probably just scraping in 25 percentile for weight.

If she's growing, developing, happy and healthy I wouldn't worry.
These things are general guides, it's an avg and there will always be kids either side of this.
My girls are very different, ones always been on the upper side of the measurement guides wearing clothes 3+ years ahead of her age and the younger on the lower end with clothes fitting for at least 6 months past when age wise she'd move up a size, but are both healthy and developing in their own way.

If she's stable on the 25th then just keep an eye but don't obsess, if she starts to drop lower then no harm in mentioning it to the gp.

My DD did a huge drop in wieght when she hit 2 and a bit. Just so much more fun stuff to be doing and burning alot of energy off. Shes now following her line on the 2nd centile but her dad is a beanpole so takes after him 😂

25th is fine...if she is happy healthy why worry,? Not everyone will be 50 th centile. Some will be tall some short....

my dc were alon g 2nd! Then dd fell off charts completely...that s when you worry. When they stop following a line. If she starts dropping from 25 to 10 to 0.2 ..get to gp. dd was diagnosed coeliac and her growth restarted after diagnosis and gf diet.

Following 25th centile is absolutely fine .
