I barley even know where to start but this evening my dd woke up and was drift get back of to sleep when she realised her dad was home from work so she was wide awake and then she just started acting a bit odd like almost drunk she was clearly showing signs of being tired but just wasn’t giving in i then took her upstairs where she was like wrestling with my duvet (the only way I can explain) i then tried putting her on the breast which she found hilarious iv finally got her settled to sleep and am sat here like what the hell was that all about !! Was not her normal self at all but I’m struggling to pin point an issue I could raise with a dr.
Here some big background info that iv just sat and tried googling to see if there are any connections but nothing seemed to fit
Dd is epileptic controlled by sodium valporate
She as of this morning is on penicillin for tonsillitis and ear infection.
Anyone had anything like this happen ??

How is your dd now? An ear infection could affect her balance and give her a stumbling gait.

Hope she's on the mend soon.

Hey,
It wasn’t really that she was off balance she just seemed extremely spaced out almost drunk. She was fine the following morning she had another dose of her penicillin and although she was no where near as bad as the evening before she just wasn’t right so after speaking to the dr we got a prescription for amoxicillin. She isn’t necessarily allergic to penicillin but she definitely reacts to it so to be wary of that. She is back to her happy little self now though 😄
