Baby snoring loudly

Is this normal? My 4 month old is a really loud snorer at times.

I didn't think this was common in babies. Does he need to see the GP?

I can’t imagine why he’d need to- my LO 2years old is snoring recently, I put it down to a slightly bunged up nose with the weather changes

One possibility is enlarged adenoids but you’d need to see your GP.

My DS age 3.5 snores and has done since he was a baby. We've got a hospital appointment in two weeks to check up (long waiting list - we saw the GO in June!).Both DH and his brother had their adenoids removed in their late teens so my DS issue may be hereditary.

Does anyone in your family have history of enlarged adenoids?

@roses2 Yes, one of my cousins had theirs removed a few years ago.
