Dealing with compulsive habits in a toddler

About three months ago my 2y8m old daughter started swallowing air. Normally happens when she's not doing anything, such as watching TV or lying in bed. It's not particularly noticeable, but you can hear her quietly swallowing.

The main issue is that it makes her bloated and farty, but she doesn't complain of tummy pain (she's a great talker and happy to tell us when she's uncomfortable) and she is continuing to eat well. She just ends up by the end of the day with a huge tummy, then farts it all out at night.

She's incredibly advanced with her language for her age, and I could raise with her - but I equally don't want to make it "a thing". I'm worried it might be an anxiety thing (lots of changes with new baby brother) but she is generally happy and sociable.

Should I ignore for a while longer, or should I try and get her to stop?
