This rash flared up on my five week old yesterday (see picture). It's over his chest, arms and back but worse on his sides. We've done the glass test and it disappears. He has been a little fussy but not worryingly so... he is still eating lots (BF) and going to the toilet regularly. Am I right I'm thinking this could be heat rash? It's over 30 C at the moment and has been the last couple of days!
He's also been on hydrocortisone cream on his face (and upper chest) for the last four days as I took him to the Dr last week. His face appeared to have some quite severe baby acne however these has seemed to calm down a lot now after the cream. It's a bit bumpy still but nowhere near as red and angry. I'm not sure if the two rashes are related or if he's been unlucky enough to have baby acne and then heat rash on top of that!
Seeing the health visitor tomorrow but would really appreciate any advice as trying hard not to worry!
