Help! 7 month old baby May have swallowed plastic??

I just fed my baby homemade lunch. He only ate half and I ate the rest but in the bit I ate I found a small bit of hard plastic about half the size of a 5p piece. It had a sharp pointy bit too it. No clue how it got in there.

I don’t know if there were any other bits and if there were whether baby swallowed them.

He seems fine (lunch was 40 mins ago). Should I take him to A&E or should I wait and see??

Ps seeing as he is fine and it was such a small piece I’m inclined to wait and see (and be more careful with food in future) but didn’t know if there were other bits the small sharp edge would harm his gut??? It was a pearl barley stew.

Fairly sure he would have spat it out, or yoyd have seen it on a spoon.

Worth contacting the company with a picture of the item and the label. There should be scanners in place to stop things like that coming in food. Especially in baby food.
