Toddler keeps shutting eyes when excited

Hey all,

My 14mo has started, over the last week or so, closing her eyes when excited. She'll be playing a game or running to the slide and she'll shut her eyes as she's running (not the best idea tbh!) Sometimes she'll close her eyes tight when we're dancing or chatting too, with a big grin. Anyone else have this? Does it go away on its own?

My youngest did this too. Ran around with his eyes shut in excitement. Bit weird but he stopped after a few months! Arent they funny?

Hi! I have a 22 month old that does the exact same thing! She does this big smile with closed eyes when she’s happy and playing. Same with the running!!
googled to see if anyone else had dealt with this. Has this resolved itself on its own?
