Tummy bug

My LO (11 months) has had a horrible tummy bug. She was sick for the first 24 hours and has had a very bad tummy since. I was changing her almost half hourly yesterday :(
We're on day 3 and she is currently fast asleep on me, where she has been most of the morning since she woke up. Is this quite normal?
I did call 111 on the first day as she was so sick. I know she is going to feel tired and wiped out today, but think I'm just after reassurance that this is normal. She doesn't have a temp, I've been keeping an eye to that and she is drinking water and formula, although not really interested in food x

If she hasn't got a temp, and she has stopped being sick, I think it just the body's way of recovering. If you were changing nappies every 30 mins, she can't have got much sleep, and is just exhausted. As long as she is taking plenty of fluids, I don't think I would worry at this stage. If there is no improvement tomorrow, it may be worth getting her checked.

Hi. Poor thing and poor you. My dd was 13 months old when she went through her first stomach bug. It was a miserable time. She had 3 that year and each time she would be sick for a day and take a week to eat as normal and get her energy back. Dairy made her sick for a few days after too. It sounds normal. Just keep up the fluids for a day or 2 and rest is good. Xx
