Vibrating legs

DS (8) has recently described an intermittent sensation of 'vibrating legs'.
His legs look and feel normal (no apparent shaking / tremor) when he describes the vibrating / buzzing.
He's had bloods and some cardiac tests (72 hour ECG and ex test) all of which are normal.

Does anyone have experience of a child with these symptoms and any idea what it might be?

Not pins and needles?

I can't remember what it was called but I had something similar for a while initially in my heel. The best I can describe is that it felt like my foot was on a vibrating mobile phone. It happened intermittently for a few weeks and seems to have stopped.

Restless legs syndrome?
I suffer from this, and it often feels like my calf muscles are moving. This then drives me to tense the muscles and move my legs.

My son has said he felt buzzing in his legs/feet and it sounded like he was describing pins and needles. How often does it happen?

Non epileptic seizure ? I get internal tremors from central nervous system disorder

The buzzing is definitely different to pins and needles.

Thanks for all replies and suggestions. I think he knows the sensation of P+Ns and this is different. Interesting to hear your experience whiterose, was your 'thing' diagnosed as a specific condition?

No. For some reason it just stopped of its own accord. I did Google it though and other people had had the same thing.
