Possible asthma - when to go back to dr

Dd2 (9) has been a bit short of breath especially after sport, walking upstairs and in the heat. She's very fit and active and this is fairly new. Her grandma is asthmatic as is her uncle so in the family.

She did a peak flow with the dr and it was just at the correct level on the third attempt (first 2 well under)

Gp gave her a peak flow monitor but no real criteria for coming back. Her mornings are consistently low (200 on a good day and should be 250) but her evenings are generally ok ish.

We've been doing it for 2 weeks now. I guess appointment to check but dr really not bothered when we saw her.

Two weeks of measurements sounds like a reasonable amount, I would make a routine appointment to go over them. If she does start a blue inhaler ("reliever" containing salbutamol) it's helpful to keep doing the measurements before & after using it to see if it is making a difference.
