Reoccurring oral thrush (toddler)

My LO has had oral thrush a number of times but recently it just keeps coming back.

I treat it with gel and follow the instructions (use for a week 4 times a day). Recently I took her to the doctors and we were prescribed a type of liquid, again followed the instructions. Each time it goes but literally within about 2/3 days I can see it coming back.

The problem is that it’s right at the back of her tongue so difficult to treat as she understandably gags when we apply the gel.

She doesn’t have a dummy, we change her toothbrush, thoroughly wash her cups.. any ideas? I’ve tried using the gel for longer but that doesn’t work either?

On a side note, the dr did a diabetes test on her wee so no concerns there as I believe reoccurring thrush can be due to that.
