My 1.5 yo fell backwards for almost 2 weeks ago and got a hard red bumpy bruise ca 2cm just above his bum, I think it is the tailbone but he also has a 2nd bum line (sacral dimple). He hasnt wanted to sit down since, he lays on the side and sleeps on his stomach :(
GP gave us Fusidic Acid cream, antibacterial and mild steroid in case it is an infection but it hasnt done any changes. I thought the bruise went down the first few days but now it seems to be getting bigger and redder.
Apart from that uncomfortableness baby is eating as usually very good portions, pooing well and sleeps well.
Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas? Doctor just said it looked like a nasty bruise....
