I'm really reaching breaking point. Daughter is 8 weeks old. Been terrible since 2 weeks old with feeding and 'colic'. Been to the doctors and prescribed gaviscon which didnt work, then aptamil pepti 1 which she wouldn't take, then omeprazole which just didnt work. Every single day she naps for about 5 mins then wakes up in pain. It's clearly tummy pain. Her farts smell terrible and shes just writhing around, thrashing in her sleep, wakes up screaming, goes red in the face with straining. She even has a small like hernia in her belly button from straining so much.

Went the the doctors yet again to be made to feel stupid and told she will just grow out of it. But I pushed and she was put on Nutramigen. After 24 hours of pushing and perseverance, she just wouldn't take it. I then stuck to her original milk cow and gate comfort just to see how she would get on now shes getting older.

Still of course, her tummy pain is non stop. Went to the docs who eventually sent me up a&e. After a 4 hours wait, I was told most likely reflux and just colic. Was given ranitidine and carried on with comfort milk.

That was over a week ago and she is still exactly the same!!!!!

I can see she is in pain all the time with her belly. She wants to be happy but then cries.

Has anyone else experienced this!? What can/do I do? She has been referred to a dietitian but have to wait a while.

Is this lactose? Cmpa? Colic?
