Advice please-head in bath water

Ok, I'm probably just being anxious, but I'm looking for some reassurance.

My DD is 5 months old. In the bath tonight she suddenly moved forward and her face quickly went in to the water (or at least on the bubbles). She just had a face full of bubbles which I wiped off right away.

She looked a bit bewildered, but didn't cry at all. She's exhausted tonight (even before her bath) so we've done a wee massage and she's had a feed then has just fallen asleep.
There's been absolutely no coughing or anything.

Is this ok? Apologies if I'm over anxious. Unfortunately I know a few people who have lost their babies and I'm just a bit hyper anxious about stuff like this.

Thank you.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

She'll be fine. If she'd swallowed water she would have gagged/coughed and probably would have been quite upset.

this happens to all up us Smile
now she needs to

  • fall of the sofa or bed
  • eat soil from a flower pot
