DD came home early from nursery last Tuesday and has had a fever, controlled by paracetamol and ibuprofen, since then. I took her to the GP on Friday and he said it was just a cold, which I don’t doubt, but she’s still getting feverish every time the medicine wears off. She’s eating and drinking ok on the times when her fever is down. Should I be taking her back to the GP, or do some colds just take this long to clear?
