Vaccination for hpv

I've just seen that boys age 12/13 are now to be offered the hpv vaccine.
Leaving aside the issue of vaccines or not as I've made my mind up on that, I'm thinking about paying for the vaccine for my son who can't have it in the programme.

Any GPs or nurses out there ? What do you think ? I can't afford it but will find the money somehow by selling something to raise the cash. Is it one jab or several? I've seen a cost of £150 mentioned.

What age is he? If you start over the age of 15 its 3 doses, otherwise its 2

He's 14.
