Blood in Poo

My 3 year old had blood on his poo about a month ago, gp suspected piles. It cleared for a bit and then the last few days there has been a lot of blood on poo, in the potty and when we wipe. He isn't in pain, it's only when he poo's and it's bright red blood.

I had him back to the go today and they were quite dismissive but will seek advice from the paediatricians. They couldn't see any obvious cause and he is well in himself.

But I am freaking out a bit! is this normal? I am so worried!

Please tell me that your GP started laxatives (movicol/laxido) to soften any poo coming out, so that where it's probably bleeding from can heal up?

Here follows link to info on most common cause (may not be this, but usually is)
