Broken toe checked out?

DD is 9 and somehow while dance around stubbed the 3 middle toes I think on the door frame, missing the big and little toe.
She instantly cried and did so for about 20 min, now yelps if the one next to the big toe is touched.
If it was my toe I'd tape it but should I get it checked out as she only a child?
It's visibly puffy compared to the others.

Urgent care is in a different hospital and in the opposite direction to a&e and only do xrays if needed to a certain point in the evening, so if we do take her which ones best?

I wouldn't go to a hospital. Ask a Pharmacist first. GP if you absolutely must.

I agree, I don't think it's something to go to a+e with. I would tape it to the next toe and try to get a gp appointment tomorrow. They don't routinely x-ray broken toes (except for the big toe). Obviously if it's going cold/numb/funny colour then go to a+e.

After the initial crying, which isn't like her, I think it's more of a stinger as she can hobble without too much pain.
Will see what it's like in the morning.
