Verucca help

Hi my ds ( 8 ) has what I think is a verucca on his foot. It's only small maybe the size of a match head. Have been using the Scholl treatment but it doesn't seem to go white like the ones I remember from my childhood. It also seems to come off very easily.

Is there anything else I could be trying?

Yes there is something for you to try : duct tape. The American serial killer type. Cut a piece , cover the verruca and leave it on. The verruca will disappear quickly without pain or damage to healthy skin. If it comes off before a week with a bath or a dip in a pool, put a new one. After a week, it should be gone.
And if you want the science and the facts here they are

My daughter had a few, I rubbed them gently every day with a nail file and then painted on them clear nail varnish every night. All gone in a week.
