Hi,
So my 1 year old had his jabs on Monday and since Wednesday has been having several poos a day - all different colours and consistencies. He hasn't spiked a temperature and doesn't appear unwell just quieter than normal. Could this be down to the jabs? And should I keep him on plain food?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I’m guessing he hasn’t had anything different to eat?

If it was my DC I’d be sneaking a load of probiotics into their food. Some medications (I’m assuming vaccines work the same way, but it really is just a guess) cause gut problems, my DD gets like this. Empty some capsules into his food and give it a stir, they’re tasteless. See if it helps. Can take a while though.

Sounds more like something he's eaten (not a proper HCP just lots of DC) if it was one of mine I would try plain food for a day and possibly calpol Incase there is any stomach ache he can't communicate.

There is a lot of stomach bugs around our local primary schools, he could of picked something up in the surgery whilst waiting.
