Baby multivitamin

Can anyone recommend a suitable multivitamin for a 7 month old baby who is dropping formula feeds? He's getting close to dropping below the recommended 500ml/day formula after which they recommend supplementing.

Thanks!

Abidec drops. You add them to the milk formula.

Yes abidec drops. If they’re young enough they don’t mind the taste (eldest) if you leave it too long they’ll pull a face and spit them out (youngest).

I’m surprised a 7 month old is dropping that many formula feeds though?

I've looked at those and they were getting my vote just based on how small the quantity per dose is compared to the rest!

He's very good at eating Blush If he doesn't wake in the night (and put away a 9oz bottle!) then he's having about 650-700ml formula a day. He's dropped right down to 3-4 bottles a day - one after breakfast and lunch then one after bath time (which is after dinner). He probably wakes at about 3am and has a bottle maybe twice a week. He seems pretty good at knowing when he's full and not having any more which I'm grateful for as my husband and I have always had weight issues. He likes his food though and is eating a good and balanced range of foods.

The one thing I have noticed is that there doesn't appear to be any vitamin B12 in any of the baby/toddler vitamins?

Our neonatal unit sent DD home with abidec, and recommended that we continue with it until she is old enough for a chewy vitamin.

DS survived on abidec for years because he was a very poor eater.

I guess I'll go with Abidec then! The 0.3ml dose rather than 5ml is definitely a selling point!
