Breathless, swollen glands for 3 yrs

So DS has had swollen glands in right side of neck for about 3 years. Last year they eventually agreed to ultrasound as there had been a large one for a year which wouldn't go down. On the day of the ultra sound it had gone down in size. They said there were lots of swollen glands, but all pea size and apparently 'some children are just glandy' and they said all is fine. I made an effort after that to forget about it, thinking maybe I was just worrying unnecessarily. But for the last 7 weeks DS has been breathless. I went to doctor and she listened to his chest and she said he was fine. Tonight he has a painful, itchy gland in his neck (right side where his glands are always up) which is quite big, and an itchy spot where an Adams apple would be if he was older (he's 7). I started googling and have seen a link between shortness of breath and swollen glands hinting at lymphoma. Shall I take him back to the doctor again?? Or am I just being unnecessarily worried by Dr Google?

I just keep thinking the doctors are marking me down as an over anxious parent - as apart from a persistent cold since september, he's full of beans and super sporty and doesn't look unwell.

Any doctors out there? What should I do?

IMO always trust your gut. Just him being breathless would make me want to get it checked again.
