Hi my little girl developed this lump slowly over the process of a few weeks it is painful and will swell to almost double its size then go back down a bit. We have taken her to the dentist who referred her to hospital. We have now had a letter saying her appointment should be some time in the next 26 weeks. I don't think I'm happy waiting that long as she isn't eating properly and seems to be very run down l. Has anyone seen this before? Or have an idea what it is and how to help? Thanks f

How old is she? Maybe you could try your gp and see if they recognise what it is or possibly they could speed up your referral by red flagging it.
