Is this the start of chicken pox?

14 month old has what looks like a pimple on his cheek. And the tiniest, flatter red mark in front of his ear on the other side. Other cheek is red. Should I be ready for chicken pox? I was hoping the poor little fellow would get a break as he has only just got out of hospital after having pneumonia. He doesn’t have a temperature. Do toddlers just get standard pimples or is that wishful thinking?

Hard to take a clear picture as he is so wiggly but the cheek pimple in particular is raised, not flat.

Usually first spots are on torso not face. And look like clear fluid blisters, they don't start out red

What was it in the end? My daughter has a white head on her arm and a red spot which looks like could turn into a whitehead on her face. Thanks
