Could salmon be making my child sick?

Hi. My 6 YO daughter has just come home from school having had painful cramps followed by being violently sick with diarrhoea. She doesn’t have a temp, and is starting to perk up a bit now. Strange thing is, 3 weeks ago, we had the exact same thing. One minute fine, next minute painful stomach cramps followed by sickness and diarrhoea for half an hour. I kept her off school for the statutory 48 hours, but she was fine the next morning, eating like a horse and running around (no temp in sight). The first time, we’d just had salmon (stored and cooked properly) for tea - and no-one else got sick (unheard of in our house when V&D shows it’s ugly head). Funnily enough, this time we had salmon again for tea last night (first time we’ve had it since the last incident). Could the two things be related? Don’t think it could be good poisoning as we all had the same thing. No bugs doing the rounds, and no one else getting sick. Has anyone had any experience of this? (Before I phone the doctors?)

Could be... Maybe it's just too rich/oily for her?

She’s had salmon in the past many times tho with no issues🤔

Could be, or just a coincidence. I would suggest cooking it on a Saturday with other things that are not allergens (did you cook it in a sauce both times?) and see what happens, if she reacts that time go to the gp but on two different occasions I would not assume because timings were different

If she’s had it in the past then I doubt it.

I can’t eat farmed salmon, they use huge amounts of pesticides, anti biotics etc which I now can’t tolerate. Could be that?
