Is this rash linked to amoxicillin

Hi all, my boy is currently on amoxicillin and has developed a rash over his torso - is this linked to the antibiotics or could it be something else?

What were the antibiotics for? If a throat infe toon it’s possible he may have scarlet fever as it’s going around and that does look like the rash

Viral rash? My DS used to get this sometimes at the end of an illness. I'd get it checked to be on the safe side.

@BethMaddison he wasn't well over the weekend. He had a temperature and was lethargic but wouldn't let the nurse check his ears or throat and got prescribed amoxicillin to see whether it would help. We don't actually know what was wrong with him

Have him checked to see if it's an allergy. My son is allergic to amoxicillin and started with a rash like that. He is also allergic to another antibiotic and also had an all over rash the same.

I'm currently taking amoxicillin and the pharmacist advised me to see a dr if I developed a rash but I got the impression the rash would be all over.
With a little one it's definitely worth getting it checked out.
