Anyone know much about nosebleeds?

Hi all,

Dd (8) has only just started having nose bleeds this past week or so. She’s having them most nights, twice last night and once today so far at school. Apparently there are quite a few children having them recently at school. It has coincided with slight and antihistamines. She doesn’t blow her nose or bother with it really. Just wondering if I should be speaking to GP or whether it’s just one of those common things really?

I would make an appointment with the GP just to double check. Also make sure she is well hydrated. Nose bleeds can be caused by dehydration.

I was on here about to write the same. My dd (10), is having them twice daily at the moment. One last week went on for over half an hour. I wasn’t sure what to do. But likewise, she had allergies too so put it down to this

My DD got them regularly from the age of 12 but we were told that they usually happen around that age when their periods are going to start. Now she's 14 and 'regular', she doesn't get them anymore...
Maybe a chat with your GP just to check. It could be the time of year with hay-fever etc...
