DS vomiting bile (TMI)

My DS7 has woken this morning and is vomiting bright yellow bile. There has been no 'normal' vomit and he ate all his dinner last night.

I'm assuming it's just a stomach bug probably going around school, just thought it was unusual to only vomit bile straight up.
Is this anything to be concerned about?

If its yellow it's not bile, but just stomach juices and is normal to vomit when theres nothing left in the stomach to come up. Most people refer to it as bile but technically bile is what is produced in the gallbladder and is bright green. Vomiting that would be a sign of something wrong, often needing a surgical review, but yellow is fine ( albeit unpleasant!) His stomach will have digested last night dinner overnight so empty this morning. Sounds most like a bug, hopefully won't last too long! Encourage small amounts of sugary juice (about 5mls every 5mls) but if hes otherwise ok then I wouldn't say anything to worry about.
