My DD Wren 7 months old and just come out of hospital due to RSV for the second time. She was admitted for 4 days, we acted quite quickly as we recognized the symptoms from the first time at 5 weeks old.

First time round she bounced back the day we got her home, no change in her at all. Things are very different his time.
She has always been an amazing ravenous feeder on the breast and bottle but ever since she left hospital she refuses both. The only way we can get milk into her is via a cup which is very clumsy and is not taking anywhere near as much as before. We have upped her real food to compensate as we were weaning before this started but she loosing weight.
She now very lethargic and her budding vibrant personality has changed, shes missing her spark and it hurts to see.
She has only been out of hospital three days any maybe things may right themselves in time but i cant help but worry.
Does anyone have any advice or first hand accounts of little ones around her age recovering from illnesses?

Thanks

Rich

Hi there OP. Didn't want to read and run. Is it worth giving the hospital a ring and asking if you can bring her in to get her checked over again? It all could be nothing but usually hospitals (even A&E departments) are totally happy to see children this age and tell you all is fine, rather than wait and see a child who isn't fine.

It sounds like you definitely need your mind putting at rest.

Anyone else had any experience of anything like this?
