Any advice would be greatful please losing my mind!!!

Baby girl 6 weeks old started showing signs of dairy intolerance.

Nasal congestion
Sneezing
Coughing
Screaming at feeds
Unsettled all time
Constipation
Refusing feeds.

Dad is dairy intolerant and I don't drink cows milk and never did whilst pregnant.

Has been on Aptamil since birth and now won't drink hardly.

Doctor first said wind (gave me infacol) then said reflux (gave me gaviscon) nothing is helping my baby and I'm an emotional mess at the minute.

What's your thoughts please???

Desperate mom waiting

Xx

If there are still symptoms with the aptamil then it sounds as though an amino acid formula might be better than an extensively hydrolysed formula. Reflux is often caused by CMPA so the GP isn't necessarily wrong, just the cause needs to be found.

There are some CMPA support groups on Facebook that can be worth joining?

Also do a search on here for other people's experiences going through this. Good luck, it's really tough when your baby is struggling.
