Hi , my dd is due her first hpv vaccination soon , I stupidly googled & read there can be lasting side effects I’m trying to put my rational head . I was talking to a friend today and she’s paying to have her daughters done privately I can’t understand why surely it’s the same thing but at a price 🤔

Yes I’d imagine that too?!

They give the hpv in schools here. Not sure if that’s nationwide. Dd has a needle phobia tho so having hers in gp surgery next week. I’ve not read side effects. I just know it needs to be done 😫

@Flossie44 your daughter can apply Emla numbing cream from boots/Superdrug/Lloyd's pharmacy 2 hours before her jag and she won't feel a thing. I use it for everything.

Aww thanks. Yes we use that too. She won’t be in the same room as a needle!! Doesn’t help that my other daughter has daily injections at home!!
